your perfect day – guided practice

Let's sit back, relax and daydream our way to new possibilities.

Hey there, it’s Mel and welcome to the final guided practice for your Summer of Intention. This is a guided visualisation that enables you to see, feel and experience your perfect day. I call it daydreaming with a purpose.

So let’s sit back, relax and daydream.

Settling into your body, your breath I invite you to close your eyes and surrender to that sense of support and ease.

Noticing your body, your breath and it’s natural supportive rhythm, each breath drawing you inward, closer to your centre. Noticing the journey of your breath in and out of the body. Arriving in this present moment with clarity and intention.

We’re going to begin our day by waking up. As you wake up in your bed, you open your eyes, what do you notice first? Where are you, how does it feel? Do you notice any colours, textures, maybe a fragrance in the air? Just take a moment to breathe it in.

As you listen to your heart, what do you feel inspired to do next? maybe it’s getting ready for the day, deciding what to wear. How do you want to look, how do you want to feel? As you look in the mirror what do you see? Do you look happy, content. Do you feel warm or cold? Is it sunny outside or can hear the rain gently falling the earth. What season is it as you look outside your window? As you gaze off into the distance who are you most looking forward to spending your time with. Where are you going to meet them? Would it be somewhere new or somewhere you have been before? Do you need to travel to get there? and hoow will you make that journey?

Once you arrive, what will you be doing? Will it feel fun, purposeful, playful, or relaxing? If you had no limitations, no fear, no hesitation how would you choose to spend your time and what would that feel like? How is this day serving you? What would that look like?

Now you have a moment to look back at your day, as you reflect on what has been, what are you most grateful for?

Bringing yourself back to the present moment, How would you capture your perfect day in one word. Would it be – I am energised, I am productive, I am free, I am loved, I am safe, I am exactly where I need to be. How can bring this to life more and more with each day?

Let’s encourage these qualities through the breath. Releasing any expectations and inviting those new possibilities for the future, of your potential.

Thank you for taking the time to explore your intentions in a conscious and connected way. I hope that you have been able to imagine the possibilities for your year from a place of creativity and freedom. I know you are able to bring more of the qualities of your perfect day into your reality. Wishing you well for the year ahead.
